KKL Invest is an investment company with more than 40 years of history
The vision of our founders was to acquire market leading companies in international niche markets to further grow their market leadership and profitability. We invest with a long-term perspective. We support our portfolio companies with our strong know-how in strategy and management. We strengthen our portfolio companies through the creation of synergies and efficiencies and through the acquisition of strategically relevant investment targets.
Our shareholders consist of 2 families. This allows us to act fast and to be agile. We are happy to see the active involvement of the 2nd generation of shareholders. Ove the 30+ years we held investments in multiple areas like automotive supplies, textile industry and mechanical engineering.
We invest in companies with a long-term view. Our vision is to keep our investment companies while leading them to even more success. In some portfolio companies KKL Invest has been invested for over 40 years. KKL Invest is therefore attractive for entrepreneurs for whom the continuation of their company is important.
In case of an investment, we work closely with the respective management to develop a joint strategy for the future. It is important for us to develop a tailor-made approach for each investment allowing the respective company to define its best way to success. We also integrate and respect other stakeholder’s interests, like employees, clients, suppliers and financial partners.
Our portfolio companies act independently in their respective markets whilst experiencing the benefits of the network. At KKL Invest we act as sparring partners for our portfolio companies with regards to strategy, international expansion, digitalisation, procurement and finance. We actively promote cooperation and exchange within the network to drive both synergies and inspiration for change.
Until today we have made several strategic acquisitions for our portfolio companies, allowing them to expand their market share, conquer new market segments, realise synergies through joint procurement or to internalise strategic know-how.
We create value by creating future ready companies. In cooperation with the management of our portfolio companies we screen mid- and long-term market and technology trends to detect potential gaps with our existing competencies and skills. We ensure that our portfolio companies can act ahead of the market as they are in possession of the necessary resources and skills. Our vision is to use the transformative forces of markets to further strengthen the strategic market positions of our portfolio companies.
